Winter Beach Elopement

Why get married in summer only? Klarissa and Jesse braved the cold this week and eloped at low tide on Motukiekie Beach through Elope West Coast, which I run with my celebrant friend, Gen.

We brought their ceremony a little earlier than originally planned to make sure we avoided forecast rain-showers later. That's the beauty of a 'just us' wedding. Flexibility is key!

It also meant we could enjoy photos during our walk as far as the tide allowed to the sea stacks for a dramatic ceremony venue.

What a stunning beach this is. Everyone I have photographed here has found a unique part of its magic - it's like a new beach every time you visit!

To the sound of gentle waves, Jesse and Klarissa said their I Do's to each other and started their married adventure together. A huge congratulations from us!
