Mele and Sefo decided to fly out to NZ to celebrate their intimate wedding with family in Greymouth. Because they got a 6 hour package, I gave them an engagement shoot as well, a few days before their big day. The plan was to have the wedding at a local park, but with uncertain weather, it was decided to have it in a family home instead. The sun stayed out though, so we could get photos at the park afterwards.

Before moving to the South Island, I used to live in very multicultural South Auckland, where I taught mostly Samoan and Tongan children. So it was so lovely to be surrounded by Tongan culture again, even for this short time. Talamonu ki he ongo me'a mali - best wishes to the newlyweds!
